EMMAUS BIBLE CHALLENGE 2019

The Emmaus Bible Challenge (formerly the Bible Book Challenge) is a national Bible study event for local churches and groups to simultaneously study God's Word through Emmaus International courses.

We want to encourage groups of believers to study God's word, to fellowship around God's word, and to keep each other accountable to faithful Bible study. We hope that participation in the challenge will result in spiritual growth in individuals, and promote committed Bible study in churches across North America.

In our 76th year of ministry, we're excited to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the Emmaus Bible Challenge (formerly the Bible Book Challenge). We invite you to join hundreds of Christians and churches in studying God's word together through our course Discovering Christ in the Psalms authored by Ken Fleming.

Challenge yourself  in studying God's word.

Challenge each other  in your groups.

Connect with other Christians  around the country.

FAQs - A few frequently asked questions

1. Should the student enter the answers in the exam booklet prior to complete the SPAS?

Yes. This helps the student to have a record of their answers while the SPAS is being mailed to Emmaus International, graded, and returned. It also means that if there is a problem with the postal system, the student has a record of their answers.

2. Why must we mail the final SPAS by April 17, 2019?

The Emmaus Bible Challenge includes a large number of teams. The end date is equal for all groups and enables Emmaus International to grade and return each group’s exams in a timely fashion.

3. Does the cost of the course ($10.00) cover all of the costs?

Yes! Emmaus International covers the cost of shipping the course books. Emmaus International instructors will grade and comment on the courses. Emmaus International also covers the costs of the certificates.

4. Why is there a different completion date on the exam sheet to the return date of the unit to Emmaus International given in these guidelines?

The completion date on the exam sheet is approximately three days before the deadline for the Coordinator to mail the complete set of exams back to Emmaus International. This allows time for the Coordinator to check that they have all the exams and have time to mail the exams.

5. Can I photocopy the exam sheet?

No, there are no photocopies allowed of the course text or the exam sheets. Any photocopied sheets will not be processed for grading. If your exam sheet is lost please email Zack at zarmfield@emmausinternational.com
